Renowned investor Kathy Wood recently proposed an interesting idea — the US government should directly buy Bitcoin on the open market. What is her reasoning? Doing so can demonstrate to the world the US's true stance on digital assets, and can also be seen as a way of saying: Hey, we take this seriously.

Currently, the US's strategic reserves mainly consist of seized assets. From a different perspective, actively purchasing digital assets like Bitcoin can more clearly convey policy signals. Moreover, from a political standpoint, the influence of the cryptocurrency community is increasing year by year, and politicians are taking this into account.

If this were to happen, Bitcoin would no longer be a fringe topic but would be officially incorporated into the national strategic framework — signifying a fundamental shift, transforming digital assets from speculative instruments into a national-level strategic tool.
