Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 13, According to Eleanor Terrett, U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman John Boozman announced that the markup meeting for the Crypto Market Structure Act, originally scheduled for this Thursday, has been postponed to the end of January. Boozman stated that the committee needs more time to maintain bipartisan support.

The bill requires at least 60 votes (a 3/5 majority in the Senate) to pass a full chamber vote. Currently, the Republicans hold only 53 seats in the Senate, so the bill must secure support from Democratic senators; otherwise, it cannot be advanced.
