Recently, the trend in the industry has been shifting towards L2 solutions, mainly because the security of borrowing ETH is sufficient. However, there is a project that refuses to follow the crowd — they are determined to build an independent public chain. Many people don’t understand this and think it’s just reinventing the wheel.

In fact, this is a big misconception. For the compliance, privacy, and financial track, taking the L1 route is the true way out.

Why not choose L2? The key points are twofold.

First, the integrity of privacy. L2s implement privacy layers, but ultimately, data still needs to be packaged back into a single layer. Think about it — privacy is maintained on the second layer, but traces are left on the first layer. For highly sensitive financial data, this becomes a security vulnerability. Only with an independent consensus mechanism can the privacy be thoroughly guaranteed from the bottom-up architecture.

Second, the voice in compliance. Using L2 means relying on the first layer’s approval. If regulators require the removal of illegal transactions in a certain block, L2s lack sufficient control over the layer-one nodes. But an independent public chain is different — it can fully embed compliance protocols and establish on-chain governance frameworks that meet regulatory requirements. Sovereignty equals value, sovereignty equals freedom.

This project has chosen the most difficult path, but it also gains the greatest potential for imagination. It is not an accessory of a certain public chain but a foundational infrastructure specifically designed for regulated financial assets.

The future multi-chain landscape might look like this: general-purpose public chains will serve the mainstream, while privacy and compliance tracks will be dominated by specialized players. This is the power of differentiated positioning.
