The timing of a project launch carries surprising weight. A strong previous launch creates momentum—what traders call the 'launchpad effect'—that can carry even mediocre projects to significant funding levels. Investors ride the wave of excitement, allocating capital more liberally when sentiment is hot.
Reverse the scenario: if the project before underperforms, the market cools fast. Enthusiasm evaporates. New launches face headwinds regardless of merit. It's less about the project itself and more about the emotional and financial state of the market at that precise moment. Timing, in other words, can make or break early-stage Web3 ventures.

Ironically, that's why 90% of project teams are betting on market sentiment rather than real product strength.
Data shows that in the last bull market, the coins that launched by riding the hype had liquidation rates that broke records. Is it happening again now?
Interesting, doesn't that mean investors are all irrational? So how come some people still dare to say they are optimistic about a certain project [cold laugh]?
It's basically a casino; timing is more valuable than technology.
Historical lesson: those who entered during the "good timing" in 2017 are still crying at the floor price now.

Oh well, basically it's just gambling on luck. No matter how good the project is, you still have to hit the right rhythm.

Luck really matters more than the project itself... I've seen so many trash coins get pumped up just because they were popular earlier.

Really, launch timing is just like mysticism. When the previous project takes off, the whole market gets excited, and even trash projects can raise funds... Conversely, if a crappy project dumps, even the most outstanding ones afterward have to take a hit, which is ridiculous.

Ha, that's why I always get caught off guard... I knew the previous project was a disaster, and it was doomed.

Ha, to be honest, you still have to follow the right rhythm. Even trash projects can take off if they catch the right trend.
