Scale AI's core team recently launched a new project called Perle Labs, focusing on sovereign nations and enterprise-level AI data infrastructure. Today, they officially kicked off Season 1 activities, and this move is worth paying attention to.

The project previously raised $17.5 million, with backers including well-known institutions like Framework Ventures and CoinFund. This indicates that investors are still optimistic about this track.

Even more interesting is the data: in just two months during the Beta phase, they completed 1.7 million data tasks. This volume demonstrates that user demand truly exists, and the market's desire to purchase AI training data is evident. Now with the S1 event launched, we should see more business activities in the future. Projects like this data infrastructure are indeed a hot direction in 2025.

1.7 million tasks in two months? You need to check how these numbers are calculated; the Beta stage figures are the easiest to inflate. I'm more concerned about access control. If the enterprise-level infrastructure doesn't have proper access control and audit mechanisms, it will be too late if issues arise later. Funding looks good, but has the security checklist for data storage been released?

1.7 million tasks were completed in just two months? That's quite a hefty demand... Feels like AI data has indeed been bottlenecked for quite a while.

1.7 million tasks in two months, this number is a bit impressive... it shows there is really a strong demand. I just wonder if the data quality can hold up, after all, large volume doesn't necessarily mean it's useful.

1.7 million tasks in two months? That's a pretty aggressive number, indicating that some people are indeed paying. However, when it comes to sovereign data, we still need to see how it will be implemented moving forward.

1. 1.7 million tasks completed in just two months? The demand is really not to be underestimated. It feels like AI data will truly rise in 2025. 2. Scale's founders are truly different, backed by so many major institutions. Perle should have a good chance this time. 3. Sovereign-level infrastructure... this track has some real substance. It’s not just hype that can drive up the volume. 4. The question is whether Season 1 can maintain this level of enthusiasm... many projects look good in the early stages, but then they fizzle out. 5. The 17.5 million funding is for building data infrastructure. Compared to pure AI applications, this direction is much more reliable. 6. Two months, 1.7 million orders, haha. These days, doing data is even more profitable than building models. 7. Basically, it’s still about selling data. I understand the logic behind Framework’s investment, but how far it can go really depends on execution.
