BTCLayer2 network Stacks completes network bandwidth expansion upgrade
BlockBeats news, on January 10, according to official sources, BTC Layer2 network Stacks has completed a 500% upgrade in network bandwidth on the Mainnet. Core developers plan to continue several other optimizations in 2025. BlockBeats previously reported that on October 29, Stacks’ Nakamoto upgrade had been successfully launched, introducing ‘Fast Blocks’ and ‘BTC finality’ mechanisms to improve transaction speed. After the Nakamoto upgrade, Stacks Block production will be independent of BTC Block production, and user transactions can be confirmed within seconds.
