Recently, the interest rate hike in Japan has caused quite a stir, but to be honest, I've been wondering — how big of a splash can this really make?
In my personal judgment, purely my personal opinion, this wave of operations seems more like a cleanup of excessively leveraged long positions. After a short-term pain, it might actually create space for the upcoming larger market movements. The market is sometimes like this, first delivering a heavy blow, and then truly giving you an opportunity.
Speaking of this, I have to mention the Plume in my hand. This thing has dropped more than ten times from its peak. It really is ten times! Sometimes I wonder what qualities a project must have to fall so completely and so persistently?

Japan raising interest rates is basically helping them to take profits from us. Plume dropping tenfold still has the nerve to call itself a project—how weak can you get?

Japan's moves this time are really aggressive, but I think you're right—this is just a shakeout, and there should be something coming afterward.
Plume dropping like this is just absurd, 10x... I also want to know how it could possibly fall this much.
Short-term pain, but you can only make a living in the long run.
Leverage longs definitely needed to be flushed out this round. The market just loves this kill-then-pump game.
To be honest, I don't really understand Plume's fundamentals. Feels like the problem is still with the project team itself.
When it comes to flushing leverage, the Bank of Japan is incredibly good at it. Took a few losses to really understand that.
10x... My god, this is a real wipeout. No wonder you’re always torn about it.

Ha, the tenfold drop is really amazing, this requires a lot of "innovation".
I really can't understand the Plume situation, the question is, do we dare to catch a falling knife now?
I think this round of interest rate hikes in Japan is just to give the market a wake-up call, those who are panicking are the guys who opened too much leverage.
The idea of cleaning out long positions sounds nice, but we retail investors have to take the bullets, there aren't really any true opportunities left for us.
Instead of pondering the project's characteristics, it's better to think about how to survive until the next bull run.
