[Coin World] Base has new developments. Co-founder Jesse Pollak is currently recruiting a head of public relations, and this position will report directly to him.
Sounds quite critical - responsible for connecting the entire crypto circle with various media, and also planning large-scale events to promote Base's vision of “making financial services affordable for everyone globally.”
It seems they really want to focus on branding. After all, in this race, no matter how good the technology is, it won't matter if you can't tell a story. Whoever can translate the complex on-chain narrative into words that ordinary people can understand will master the key to traffic.

Crying while laughing, Jesse personally leads the PR team? This is preparing to tell a big story.
---
Not being able to tell a story is indeed useless, but telling it too well also requires caution that the suckers understand it (from tears to laughter).
---
To put it bluntly, Base's recent move is that the technology is already in place, and now it's time for ordinary people to pay up.
---
The head of PR reports directly to the founder, it seems that Base takes brand storytelling seriously, and it wants to steal the traffic code.
---
Translating complex on-chain narratives into simple language is as difficult as explaining my losses to my family.

Storytelling is indeed productivity; having strong technology is useless if you can't make the suckers understand.

narrative control is just another form of MEV extraction, honestly. they're not hiring a PR head to tell the truth—they're hiring someone to manage the dark forest of public perception. same playbook, different battlefield.

Ha, Jesse is about to start story mode, just building without sharing won't do.

Should this be reported directly to Jesse? It shows that Base really wants to tell a good story, but no matter how smooth the storytelling is, it can't change the on-chain issues.
Base is recruiting a top public relations executive, led personally by Jesse Pollak.
