[Chain News] The results of the x402 hackathon collaboration track are out, and these projects are pretty wild.
In on-chain AI payments, Sentinel Agent is working on AI agents that can directly trigger on-chain payments. Galaksio goes even further, using USDC directly to buy computing power and storage resources. ParallaxPay simply created an AI agent trading marketplace, and Agentx402’s idea is to let you use advanced AI models without a subscription.
There are quite a few data and tool projects as well: x402 Triton Gateway built a micro-payment gateway for querying Solana historical data, and scanna-x402 is exploring payment scenarios based on web3 consumption data. InsightAI developed a whale signal Telegram bot, and Marketputer is a marketing assistant dedicated to meme coins.
There are also two prediction market-related projects—Polycaster uses AI to analyze prediction markets, and x402Resolve created an escrow payment system based on Oracle verification. The self-learning module from Learn Earn is also pretty interesting.
Most of these projects revolve around the x402 protocol, with the core logic being to enable direct interaction and settlement between AIs. In short, they’re exploring how AI and on-chain economies can work together.

From the source code level, the idea of AI Agents directly calling smart contracts for payments is not new in itself. The key is whether execution efficiency and security audits can keep up. How do Sentinel and Galaksio address replay attacks?

AI agent handling on-chain payments? This scheme still feels a bit dubious.
