Don't remind me again today

The small ADP data release on December 4th really caught the market off guard. Silver surged at first, but couldn't hold its ground and fell back down. The sell signal for US crude oil is even more obvious—technically, things aren't looking great.

On the news front, there are reports from Trump's camp that Bessent might be appointed to two positions—Treasury Secretary and Director of the National Economic Council. That's a pretty unusual move. Also, it's said that there will be a big push for the robotics industry next year, so policy directions are shifting quickly.

Overall, traditional assets like US crude are under heavy selling pressure right now. BTC and ETH are relatively stable, but it's still important to watch for macro-level chain reactions, since tightening liquidity is never good for risk assets.
BTC-1.44%
ETH-1.18%

Silver surged and then dropped back again, that's really awkward—the technicals really don't look good. Machine: Bessent holding two positions by himself, that's pretty intense. Looks like the pace will change next year. Wow, US crude really is turning weak—traditional assets are having a rough time this round. Liquidity tightening is definitely a wild card for crypto; BTC and ETH can probably hold out for now. Is the robotics industry the next big thing? That policy shift happened pretty fast, gotta keep up.

The uncertainty of non-farm payroll data is the most annoying; silver's movement is a typical false breakout. Crude oil is even worse—the technicals have already sounded the alarm, and I've reduced my positions for a while now. As for Bessant holding dual positions, it looks like a concentration of power; the market may buy into it in the short term, but we need to closely watch liquidity trends in the long run. The selling pressure on traditional assets is indeed heavy this round. BTC is still holding up, but don't be fooled by its apparent stability—the sword of macro tightening is still hanging overhead. Survival comes first.
