Entering 2025, I set a goal for myself—lose less money. It may not sound glamorous, but it might be the most practical plan.
Looking back on the past year's investment records and review, the problem is clear: frequent trading, chasing highs and selling lows, and lack of risk control. The adjustments to be made this year are simple—four words: stability first.
Specifically, it means reducing unnecessary trading frequency, improving stop-loss execution, and setting a cap on exposure to risk assets. The crypto market is volatile, but the premise is to stay alive and participate, only then can there be opportunities to make money. Many times, not losing money itself is a form of making money.
This is the goal for 2025—manage risk properly, everything else is just clouds.

To be honest, I approve of this approach. Losing money is really harder than making money, especially in the crazy world of cryptocurrencies.

Well said, the phrase "Only by living can you make money" is brilliant; so many people die at the moment they chase the high.
Stop-loss sounds simple, but few can actually execute it. Keep going.
Frequent trading is truly poison. I also crawled out of this pit last year.
Not losing money is the biggest profit, I agree with this.
Stabilizing your mindset by 2025 is more important than anything else; it actually yields much higher returns.

That's right, this is the voice of reason. How many people are still dreaming of getting rich overnight, unaware that being alive is the most important thing.

Really, I give full marks to the goal of losing less money. It's much more reliable than those who boast about doubling every day.
Staying alive is the top priority. This really hit me; too many people died chasing the peak.

Haha, isn't this the review I wrote last year... and yet, I'm still dreaming the same dream now.

That's right. Last year's days of chasing gains and cutting losses really resulted in heavy losses. This year, just wanting to stay alive is enough.
But speaking of which, stop-loss is easy to say, but when it comes to critical moments, it's still hard to pull the trigger...
The saying "lose less to earn more" hits the mark. Being able to survive steadily is the real win.

Haha, another "lose less money" goal appears. It feels like this is the collective New Year flag of the crypto circle.
But I have to say, this guy's self-reflection is quite sincere. I've also fallen into the trap of frequently chasing highs and selling lows. How many times has my account taken a nosedive over the year...
The key is the execution of stop-loss. It's easy to talk about but really painful to do. When can we treat paper losses as normal, then it will be achieved.
