NGL, by 2026, truly knock out the counterfeit projects. Those that only rely on hype should have died long ago. I now actually favor some small and refined L2 ecosystems; they are much more reliable compared to those big and unwieldy DAOs.

Honestly, I really can't tell who is genuinely building and who is just hype... L2 definitely has some substance, but most DAOs just look like upgraded versions of air coins to me haha

The data in the L2 ecosystem is the craziest; activity has already exceeded the historical average. However, to be honest, many projects look lively but are actually just populated by many T traders, with few genuine contributors. The DeFi sector is quite interesting; although liquidity mining has recently become more competitive again, it is indeed forming a bottoming pattern. From a macroeconomic cycle perspective, the market structure in 2026 has already differentiated—either technology-driven ecosystems or targets that are being cut. Have you noticed that communities truly shipping features tend to have less active Discords, but their quality is extremely high? That’s the signal I am most optimistic about.

Ha, "organic growth"? I just smile and say nothing, it’s definitely a reverse indicator. --- A truly active community? It’s just those few still risking everything and working hard, the rest are just slogan teams. --- My experience is that 90% of the projects that shout the loudest end up being cut in half. So now I only focus on those neglected corners. --- DAOs? Ha, I’ve seen too many DAO vaults emptied, now when I see governance tokens I think of ATM cards. --- Sorry, I have a strong reverse physique. When you talk about prosperity, I feel like something’s going to go wrong. --- Layer-2 ecosystems do have people stacking code, but with the coin price like this, I really can’t tell if they’re building or just cutting leeks. --- The ones being hit are actually the smaller ecosystems I’ve never heard of before.
