Canadian rapper Drake has been sued in the Eastern District of Virginia federal court in the United States for promoting and using the crypto casino Stake. The complaint alleges that Drake, along with well-known streamer Adin Ross and others, used Stake's "tipping" feature to conceal the flow of funds, providing financial support for music botting activities, and is suspected of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The lawsuit was initiated by Stakeus users, accusing the platform of operating as a "social casino" to evade US gambling regulations, essentially engaging in illegal online gambling, and seeking damages of no less than $5 million.
