Ethereum's development direction has once again become a focus of industry attention. Vitalik Buterin recently mentioned in an interview that Ethereum's future plans will bring significant changes to the entire ecosystem — this is not a casual statement, but based on existing technological achievements and data support.

Since the Merge upgrade last year, Ethereum has indeed experienced a critical turning point. Energy consumption has decreased by 99.9%, from the original annual electricity usage of 23 billion kWh to an almost negligible level. This improvement is not just a numbers game; it directly impacts the sustainability assessment of the entire network.

On-chain activity also performs remarkably. The number of active addresses per day has maintained a level of over 500,000 for a long time, and the total locked value in the DeFi ecosystem has returned to $40 billion, continuing to hold the top-tier ecosystem position. From the perspective of long-term holders, the proportion of profit-makers since last year has exceeded 60%, and institutional capital inflows have also accelerated significantly, with growth reaching three times.

What is even more noteworthy is the advancement of the technical roadmap. Danksharding upgrade has entered a substantial testing phase, aiming to increase transaction speed by about 100 times and reduce Gas fees to near zero. Based on the validation results from testnets, processing 100,000 transactions per second is no longer a theoretical hypothesis but an achievable technical goal.

The staking scale of Ethereum 2.0 is also continuously breaking new records, indicating that market confidence in this ecosystem for the long term still persists. All signs suggest that subsequent developments indeed have the potential to bring industry-level changes.

Hey, if Danksharding really gets implemented, with gas fees approaching zero, that would be amazing. Currently, fees of dozens of dollars can force users to give up.

Listen to this data, is Danksharding really coming? 100,000 transactions per second, no kidding, right?

That's right, if Danksharding can really be implemented, then this deal is worth doing.

Wow, is Danksharding really coming? 100,000 transactions per second? This is going to take off!

Brothers, once Danksharding goes live, the game rules will have to be rewritten. Selling too early will make you regret it. The data from Merge really can't hold up anymore, 99.9% energy consumption, hundreds of thousands of TPS... This is not a chain, this is a cheat device. Institutional growth tripled? Now that's interesting, it shows that big funds have long seen through it. 400 billion locked in to recover funds, the ecosystem is still alive, not dead yet. Vitalik's recent remarks are not just bragging; there is indeed something behind it. Staking volume hits a new high, retail investors still believe in it, haha. 100x speed—if that's really true, is there still a future for L2?

If this wave of Danksharding really gets implemented, with gas fees dropping to zero, that would be great. I'll have to relearn how to use Ethereum then, haha.

Wait, 100x speed and near-zero Gas? If that can really be achieved, I’ll go all in immediately. Just worried it’s another PPT upgrade...

The 99.9% reduction in energy consumption is indeed impressive, but what really matters is whether Danksharding can be successfully implemented as scheduled.

Damn, is Danksharding really coming? A 100x speed increase is no joke.

Well... If Danksharding really gets implemented this time, and the gas fees approach zero, that's quite a bold statement to make.
