Last night, I saw the Dow surge past 49,000 and realized that the underlying logic behind this market rally is actually quite clear: on the surface, it appears to be divergent, with some funds speculating on energy and inflation concepts, while others are aggressively chasing AI and robotics sectors. But beneath this surface, stocks, gold, crude oil, cryptocurrencies, and bonds—these seemingly independent assets—are actually doing the same thing.

They are all betting that the Federal Reserve will loosen monetary policy.

In other words, the market is preemptively pricing in the expectation of liquidity returning. The driving force behind this rally is less about fundamentals and more about a collective anticipation of a policy turning point by central banks.
