A seasoned trader recently shared their recent position adjustment ideas in the community. He stated that, aside from the core long position in BTC, most small altcoin positions have been gradually taken profits.

Regarding the future trend of BTC, he initially set his entry target at $94,000. Although the current price has touched the $100,000 range, he remains cautious about the performance above this key level. "Whether it can break through smoothly will directly affect whether the next market cycle can start," he said. Before seeing more definitive signals, he will choose to lock in unrealized gains and observe.

As early as late December 2024, he publicly mentioned that he had long positions in certain small altcoins and pointed out that, from a historical cycle perspective, there is a certain opportunity for entry at this point. This profit-taking is actually proactive risk management—realizing part of the gains before the key resistance level to leave room for subsequent market changes.

The 100,000-dollar mark is indeed a cautious threshold... The era of making quick money is over.

The 100,000 mark still depends on whether we can hold steady or not --- Small altcoins cut losses, turns out all in on Bitcoin is still the way --- Locking in unrealized gains and observing, this move is very stable --- From 94,000 to 100,000, the target was exceeded, awesome --- The key resistance level is right here; if we can't break through, we'll have to wait for the next wave --- Risk management is indeed very professional --- I'm feeling a bit awkward following small altcoins --- If the $100,000 mark can't be broken, does that mean it's over? --- People who took profits early are probably sleeping very soundly now --- Leaving some room is crucial; don't go all in

The $100,000 mark is really stuck. Looks like he's also waiting for a signal.

This guy's standard move before running away—dump all the small coins, hold onto BTC tightly, a classic risk hedging strategy. If 100,000 can't be broken, it seems there's not much drama left afterward. Smart people are waiting for signals at the 100,000 level, while we retail investors are still trapped. Really, every time the big V guys run first, and we only react afterward, always a step behind. Feels like what he's saying is the same as not saying anything—just waiting, waiting forever. When will the breakout happen?

Reaching the 100,000 mark truly requires waiting for a signal, otherwise it's easy to get crushed.
