On-chain transactions operate at a fundamentally different speed compared to traditional finance. Your money settles in minutes, not days. And the fees? Dramatically lower.
Consider the numbers: A cross-border wire transfer through conventional banking takes 3-5 business days with intermediaries skimming fees at each step. The same transaction on the blockchain? Confirmed in under an hour, often with a fraction of the cost.
This isn't just about speed or savings—it's about efficiency. Smart contracts execute automatically. There's no waiting for manual processing, no banking hours restrictions, no geographic limitations.
Whether you're moving assets between wallets, executing trades on a decentralized exchange, or settling transactions across chains, the onchain advantage is clear: faster execution, lower friction, more control. The infrastructure is built for efficiency, and that changes everything about how value actually moves.

That traditional banking system is really slow, cross-border transfers still take a week, and the fees are ridiculously high. On-chain transactions are definitely much faster, but sometimes the gas fees can also cost you a meal haha.

Honestly, the traditional banking process really needs to retire. It takes 3-5 days to arrive? I was disgusted by this last week. Cross-border remittances still have to be gouged by various intermediaries. On-chain confirmation in seconds, and the fees are so cheap it's inhumane. The gap is ridiculously huge.

Damn, the 3-5 days at Wo Cao Bank is indeed outrageous. I just got scammed once last week because of this.
