Platform X will launch intelligent asset tagging to help users view market data and news in real-time

【BlockBeats】The product lead of X platform, who is also a technical advisor for the Solana ecosystem, Nikita Bier, recently revealed an interesting development in feature development.

In simple terms, X is building a system called “Smart Cashtags.” Once launched, when users post updates about a certain token or smart contract on X, they can directly specify the asset. Others who see these tags can click on them to view real-time price trends of the asset and access all related information mentioning this asset—essentially integrating financial news, market data, and community discussions into a single entry point.

Nikita Bier emphasized that X has become the main channel for obtaining financial information. The launch of this new feature means users can more efficiently access price data while browsing information, breaking down the information barriers between social discussions and market data.

Currently, this feature is still in the polishing stage. The team plans to continue iterating and optimizing before the official release and actively collect community feedback. According to the plan, the new version is expected to be launched around next month.
