A wallet that received tokens from the Monad (MON) airdrop just executed a massive liquidation. According to market reports, this address (0x676a) received approximately 5.61 million MON from the initial distribution program, valued at around $184,000 USD at that time.

However, the market reality did not meet expectations. When the price of MON dropped below the presale level of $0.025, the wallet panicked and proceeded to sell most of its holdings. Specifically, it liquidated 5 million MON at a price of $0.0239 per token, generating just 131,000 USDC.

Market Context

The MON token is currently trading at $0.02, reflecting ongoing downward pressure since launch. For airdrop recipients, the experience has been discouraging: receiving tokens that quickly lose value creates a dilemma between holding the position or taking losses.

In this case, the 0x676a wallet chose the latter. The decision to sell nearly all of the 5 million MON suggests it prioritized avoiding further depreciation rather than waiting for a possible price recovery.
