Most trading systems don't collapse overnight.

They gradually decay.

At first, you strictly follow your trading plan—review risks before each entry, set stops precisely to decimal points, and never act without a confirmed signal. At this stage, the system is still alive.

And then? Slowly, small compromises begin. Today, out of impatience, you skip a confirmation. Tomorrow, because you're optimistic about a certain coin, you arbitrarily increase your position size. The day after, out of fear of missing out, you ignore your trading discipline.

The most terrifying part is—this process is completely imperceptible.

By the time you notice your account shrinking, win rates declining, and frequent stop-losses, the real problem has long been planted. The losses you see are just symptoms; the root cause is that your system has been off course for three months.

Signals are drowned in noise, discipline is shattered by emotions, and your original intention dissipates invisibly under the excuse of "trend adjustment."

Therefore, the smartest traders do one thing—regular system audits. Not waiting for failure to regret, but proactively sounding the alarm to detect those subtle drifts in time. Because in the market, the cost of discovering problems early is always lower than discovering them late.

Oh, this is the painful lesson I learned. Last year, the trading system went off course while running, and I didn't realize it at the time. Irregular audits are truly a slow-acting poison; by the time I react, the account has already suffered significant losses. Now I ask myself every week, it's really annoying but definitely effective.

This is the most heartbreaking sentence I've ever read; system audits really can't be delayed.

Damn, isn't this just the painful lesson I learned... Only realized it that day --- Subtle drift? Bro, I had already drifted to the Pacific Ocean and still didn't realize --- I just want to ask, who the hell can notice this process? It's just numbness --- What’s the use of system audits? Human nature can't be overcome --- Spot on, but it's easy to say and really hard to do --- Talking about stop-loss is simple, but in the crypto world, few can stick to it --- I'm that idiot who blindly "adjusts with the trend" --- Early detection and early loss-cutting, or better to take a gamble and turn things around --- By saying that, shouldn't I check my trading logs... --- Discipline is broken by emotions, this sentence hits the sore spot

Really, this sentence hits home... I was like this two months ago, initially strictly following the plan, then I started to "adjust," and now the account is falling apart.

I've fallen into this trap too many times... what seems like a small compromise quickly turns into a big loss.
