🗣 X "pumped up" Cashtags — a step towards built-in trading

On X (Twitter), the Cashtags feature has been seriously upgraded, allowing users to track stock and cryptocurrency prices directly from their feed.

How it was before:
— the price was shown next to the ticker;
— hovering over it displayed a simple mini-chart;
— the feature has existed since 2012 but was often disabled, especially after rebranding.

What has changed now:
— typing a cashtag brings up a search for stocks and crypto with price and percentage change;
— clicking opens a full chart and detailed information about the asset;
— Buy / Sell buttons have appeared, resembling a foundation for future built-in trading.

X is gradually transforming from a social network into a financial platform.
