Making a quick profit and then rushing to run, this kind of mindset indeed tends to be limited. I still remember looking down on those who held on stubbornly before, and now I realize I was the biggest joke. A few months ago, gold and Ethereum were both around 4000 yuan, and now looking again... Sigh, no need to say more. Market conditions, attitude, and patience are often more important than technical skills. Macro events like the US non-farm payrolls below expectations and CPI data releases do impact the performance of assets like Bitcoin and Solana, but those who truly make money are never the ones trading frequently. Sometimes sticking to a strategy is the hardest thing to do.

actually™ the irony here is that most traders don't understand portfolio theory... you're just describing mean reversion with extra steps. the real alpha came from understanding that macro events are priced in within milliseconds if you're actually looking at the order book data, but sure, let's pretend hodling is a strategy and not just cope for people who lack conviction to rebalance properly

If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have been so eager. A few months ago, it was really a free win.

If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have impulsively cut my losses. Now, look at those who are still holding on tightly—they've all posted.

I should have bought in aggressively earlier, now I'm so regretful that I feel sick to my stomach.

Handshake and make peace, those who sold early must be regretting it...

Really, I should have known earlier and not bottomed out to sell.
