Let's review the recent trading recap. From 1.5 until now, ZEC, WCT, and ASTER each hit stop-loss once, with total losses roughly equal to 2% of the total funds. Conversely, BTC and ETH achieved take-profit gains of 5%. After deducting fees, overall there was no loss, with actual returns around 1-2%.

Currently holding three active positions. One is an ETH long with 7x leverage and an 8% position size, at the current price of 3118. Planning to add another position around 3066. The position is lightweight, so no significant psychological pressure, and I’m not focusing on take-profit or stop-loss for now.

On BTC, I have a short position with 7x leverage and an 8% position size, at a price of 92200. If I need to add more later, I might wait until 93000-94000, with take-profit locked at 89666.

For ASTER, I’m using 10x leverage with a 2.3% position, going long at 0.686, with a stop-loss at 0.6683 and take-profit at 0.8. The risk-reward ratio is 6.44. This level is actually worth another push; I hope this time I won’t get stopped out again.

DOGE has already been triggered. I placed a buy order at 0.1352, with a stop-loss at 0.1312 and take-profit at 0.165. The risk-reward ratio is 7.45, with 10x leverage and a 2.2% position. If I get filled, I plan to sell part around 0.143 to avoid a situation like with WCT, where profits were eaten up by retracement and then got stopped out.

TRUMP’s stop-loss is set quite tight; whether I can get in depends on luck. Going long at 5.282, with a stop-loss at 5.232 and take-profit at 5.615. The risk-reward ratio is 6.66, with 10x leverage and a 3.5% position. Even if stopped out, assuming no slippage, the loss would be less than 0.5% of the total funds.

When BTC short approaches the take-profit level, I might add an 8% long position first to test the waters.

Trading is about buying into your own logic. Trial and error are the main themes of this game.

Damn, the review is so detailed. Adding small positions with a favorable risk-reward ratio is indeed the right way. Is ASTER falling into a trap again? The 6.44 ratio is really tempting, hopefully this time we won't get caught off guard. Taking out WCT at the right time was correct. Dealing with retracements is the most annoying part, but at least there's a lesson learned. Close the BTC short position near take profit and switch to long. ngl, the risk management here is... technically sound, but those leverage ratios? insufficient validation of market volatility buffers, statistically speaking. and swapping shorts to longs on btc near tp feels like deprecated practice energy. trust but verify, but also—did you audit those liquidation distances thrice or just twice?

Transaction fees eat into profits, and the gains are gone. We still have to keep grinding this wave. ASTER, please don't get beaten down again this time. It's exhausting. Trades with a risk-reward ratio above 6 are indeed tempting, but I don't know if they'll really trigger. The WCT experience was truly a deep lesson. Cutting half to save your life was the right approach. If this BTC short really hits the take profit, a coordinated long position would be quite impressive. Tight stop-losses are just gambling with luck; sometimes it's just that one point away. A 1-2% monthly return over the long term isn't bad at all, and it's quite stable.

Stop loss 2% plus handling fee actually earns 1-2%, this operation detail is quite meticulous. However, I am more concerned about the ASTER position. Is it really worth pushing again? It feels like it could easily get trapped again. The profit and loss ratio of this DOGE position is indeed attractive, but the lesson from WCT is still fresh. The feeling of having the profit retraced and broken through... It's safer to reduce the position at 0.143 first. The BTC short position is almost in place, preparing to go long and try. It's a bit bold, and slippage might turn out to be another issue.
