An emerging DeFi player is making waves in the onchain lending space. The platform just launched its borrowing and lending ecosystem built around USD1, its native stablecoin, while also opening up credit markets for major assets like Ethereum and Bitcoin.
As onchain credit markets continue accelerating, the move reflects growing demand for decentralized lending infrastructure. Users can now deposit collateral and earn yield, or borrow against their holdings—all without intermediaries. It's yet another sign of how seriously the ecosystem is pushing toward full-stack decentralized finance.

Another lending protocol is launching. Will it last more than three months this time?

Another new stablecoin is launching, sounds pretty impressive. But we need to ask—are the supply lines stable? How is the collateralization rate of USD1 set? Has the liquidation risk under extreme market conditions been calculated?
I've seen too many of these lending platforms before; they shine brightly at first, but the real test comes from black swan events. When ETH drops 40% and the market is in chaos, you'll see who hasn't done their risk control homework.
Depositing to earn yields sounds good, but don't be blinded by APY—high returns often come with high risks. My advice is to start small, keep 90% of your ammunition in your pocket, because that's what the market teaches us.

Another lending protocol? Can it survive this bear market?
