Recently released 2026 outlooks from asset management institutions highlight two signals worth noting—

First is the redefinition of digital assets. The report clearly states that stablecoins are evolving into the infrastructure of the "digital dollar track," no longer just an ancillary tool for trading. Payment settlement and cross-border flows—these segments that once relied on traditional financial intermediaries—are being redesigned.

Second is the continued optimism about AI. Over the next five years, AI infrastructure investment may exceed $5 trillion, a scale that has become a core driver of economic growth. However, the report also does not shy away from risks: leverage could surge, and whether the profit growth of tech giants can keep pace with expenditures remains uncertain.
