Two completely different strategies with entirely opposite profit logic.

**The Core of Small Capital Big Profits**

Using small positions to bet on large fluctuations requires enough discipline. Many people want to buy the dip and double their coins, but they don’t understand a simple reality: the crypto market has never only gone up without falling; any asset will experience pullbacks.

What happens once you go all-in? When a correction arrives, a 20% drop can directly wipe out your account, and unrealized losses immediately become apparent. Facing the common waterfall declines in the crypto world, few can withstand that psychological torment. What’s the result? Most people panic and sell at the bottom, watching the market rebound and missing out on the main upward wave.

The contrast is here. If you use small positions early on to lay in wait, you’ll have room to maneuver during corrections, allowing you to add to your positions and lower your average cost. When the market takes off, the profit multiples can be completely different.

That's right, going all-in is truly one of the top three ways to die in the crypto world. Not to offend, but once your mentality collapses, you simply can't withstand it. It's a mentality issue; no matter how good the strategy is, it can't save greedy people. The tactic of averaging down with small positions is indeed brilliant, it all depends on who can hold out until that wave takes off. Here's another article advising people not to go all-in, but some just can't change. Adding positions to average down sounds simple, but in practice, there are pitfalls everywhere.

That's right, going all-in is really a suicidal move. I've seen too many people cut their losses like that. Small positions hidden in the market can indeed be a way out, but the key is to have that patience. Not everyone can endure it.

You're absolutely right. Going all-in is a suicidal move; I should have realized that long ago.

small positions aren't sexy but they're honestly the only sane way to handle these cascading liquidations. full send mentality is just asking for a slashing event on your own portfolio, tbh. seen too many nodes go down thinking they could weather any dip... they couldn't.
