On-chain analyst Emmett Gallic recently detected a noteworthy trend — an address associated with Gate.io hacker Aleksey Bilyuchenko deposited 926 BTC into an unknown exchange platform on January 13.

This address still holds 3,000 BTC, worth approximately $275 million USD. However, whether these assets are still in Bilyuchenko's possession remains uncertain. After all, this individual has been inactive for several years — his last appearance was during his imprisonment in Moscow, serving a total sentence of three and a half years.

This large transfer immediately sparked discussions within the community. Some market participants speculate it could be asset transfer or liquidation activity, while others believe it might involve asset disposal related to legal proceedings. Regardless, the legacy issues of Mt.Gox remain an unresolved mystery in the crypto market.

Damn, 926 BTC just like that. Isn't this guy ever idle even in prison?

926 BTC transferred to exchanges, this data needs to be carefully examined... Based on on-chain address tracking, the movement of the remaining 3000 coins is the key, it has a bit of a stress test feel.

Wait, is this guy really still alive? I thought this money had already been permanently sunk.
