This isn't doomsaying—it's the reality many investors face. In this climate, financial self-custody and privacy stop being nice-to-have features. They become essential survival strategies.
When custody remains with third parties, you inherit their risks. When data lives on centralized servers, exposure is inevitable. The solution? Taking control back—securing your own keys, managing your own data, reclaiming financial sovereignty.
For crypto holders, this shift isn't optional anymore. It's fundamental.

To be honest, self-protection is the key, otherwise just wait to be cut off.

nah this is just natural selection at this point. third-party custody is literally paying for the privilege of getting rekt. seen it play out since mt.gox... funny how some people still haven't learned the correlation between complacency and liquidation.

Self-custody wallets are indeed the trend, but honestly, most people can't remember their private keys at all... That's the most heartbreaking part.

To be honest, I've been using this self-custody logic for a long time. It's just a hassle. If it weren't for the FTX incident, I guess many people would still be sleeping soundly on centralized exchanges.
The era we're entering demands a rethink of how we protect personal wealth.
Consider what's at stake:
🔴 Asset seizures hitting unexpectedly
🔴 Security breaches exposing holdings
🔴 Centralized exchanges imploding
🔴 Private data leaks everywhere
🔴 Constant surveillance on financial activity
