Current AI systems like Claude remind me of early operating systems. Think of it this way: Claude operates more like DOS or an early shell environment—functional but fundamentally limited in scope.

We're still waiting for the "Windows 3.1 moment" in AI. That breakthrough generation that's genuinely transformative, not just an incremental upgrade. The leaps forward are coming, but we're not there yet.

Haha, that's a great analogy, but I think Claude is no longer considered DOS now, at least it can do work. The real turning point should be when it can independently iterate; right now, it's still in the manual tuning stage.
