Will Ethereum become the market focus in 2026? Standard Chartered Bank recently made a bold prediction—ETH is expected to surge to $7,500, and by 2030, it is optimistic about breaking through the $40,000 mark.

The logic behind this prediction is actually quite clear. The Ethereum ecosystem itself is continuously improving, with L2 solutions, staking mechanisms, DeFi innovations… all of these are building momentum for the ecosystem's launch. If this prediction comes true, what does it mean? It means that the MEME sector embedded on the Ethereum chain might have good opportunities.

MEME coins remain silent in the bear market and explode in the bull market. Those MEME projects with topicality and high community enthusiasm often attract attention when market sentiment is high. Especially coins that incorporate popular figures or concepts tend to be more easily accepted. During the Year of the Horse market, concept coins related to well-known entrepreneurs may become the market's focus.

Of course, any investment advice carries risks. But in the crypto market, early positioning in potential tracks often allows you to seize the opportunity. By the time consensus is fully formed, opportunities are often scarce.

Standard Chartered's prediction... is a bit too optimistic, $40,000 by 2030, just listen and don't take it seriously. MEME coins are indeed easy to manipulate, but be careful about chasing high and getting trapped. Early positioning is good, but don't go all-in on a single concept coin; these carry higher risks. ETH's fundamentals are still solid, but whether it truly becomes a focal point by 2026 depends on market sentiment. Be especially cautious with celebrity-themed coins; once the hype dies down, many have gone to zero.

Just take Standard Chartered's predictions with a grain of salt. I'm more concerned about whether the contracts on L2 have undergone proper audits. Whether ETH rises to 7500 or 40000, honestly, it's not very appealing to me. I'm more interested in seeing which DeFi protocols in the ecosystem still have reentrancy vulnerabilities in their code. As for MEME coins, I’ll just pass; the risk vectors are too many.

Standard Chartered's prediction is a bit outrageous, ETH at 40,000... Just listen and don't take it seriously --- All that L2 stuff has already been hyped up, what are they still bragging about now --- MEME coins do have a chance, but don't go all in, brother --- They're starting to encourage people to chase hot coins again, I'm tired of this routine --- 2026 is too far away, for now let's think about how to survive 2024 --- What sounds good is strategic planning, but honestly it's just gambling, right --- Year of the Horse concept coins? Don't be silly, those all died last year --- When has Standard Chartered ever been so friendly to us? Something's off --- If ETH really hits 7500, I'll quit my job immediately, but I don't really believe it

Standard Chartered's prediction is probably trying to lure us into the market, right? Listening to $40,000 ETH sounds great, but is it realistic? I've seen plenty of MEME coins; once the hype dies down, they crash hard. The risk is really high. Getting in early sounds good, but those who jump in too soon often end up as the little guys. It's better to wait and see this time. ETH ecosystem is indeed developing, but blowing it up like this is a bit over the top. Year of the Horse market? People still believe in this kind of superstition these days? That's hilarious. However, L2 and staking are definitely directions to watch. I agree with that.

Standard Chartered's prediction, just listen to it. If you really want to bet, it's better to focus on the implementation of ecosystem development. Blowing hot air won't help. MEME can indeed be easily driven by emotions, but just don't get your scalp cut off.
