This appointment is part of a planned transition, with Mancini-Griffoli simultaneously joining the Executive Council of the Bank for International Settlements.

Currently serving as Deputy Director at the IMF, Tommaso Mancini-Griffoli has been leading critical projects related to payments and financial market infrastructures for several years.
