Regarding the impact of tokenization on the ETF market, I have to be honest—this possibility still seems quite distant at the moment. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not opposed to tokens and blockchain technology itself, but what is the reality? Tokenization is likely to remain a niche market or just handle some behind-the-scenes infrastructure work. How stable has the position of ETFs been over the years? To shake it up? It’s not that simple. In the short term (at least a few years), it’s basically unlikely. Instead of thinking about how to overthrow it, it’s better to consider how both can perform their respective roles.

Your point is valid, but I've looked at on-chain data — the distribution of institutional ETF holdings has already become quite clear. Tokenization trying to take a slice of this cake? The capital flow simply can't support it.

Agreed, tokenization is still just talk, while the ETF system is deeply rooted.

tbh the whole "tokenization will disrupt ETFs" narrative feels more like speculative fiction than market reality... the institutional moat around traditional finance is thicker than most web3 folks want to admit. maybe the real paradigm shift isn't about replacement but rather exploring what complementary infrastructural roles blockchain can actually play without the revolutionary fanfare.

To be honest, I've seen through tokenization a long time ago. It's just a nice illusion; that wall of ETFs isn't so easy to knock down.

Does tokenization really have the potential to overthrow ETFs? Ha, just dreaming. The current landscape is still far from that. The wall of ETFs isn't that easy to break down; tokens are at most just laying the groundwork. Instead of hyping concepts, it's better to think about coexistence strategies. That's the real deal. Don't hold your breath in the short term; tokenization is just a foundational infrastructure, and you have to accept that. Honestly, no matter how hot tokens get, they can't move the ETF market; the gap is too big. Both play their own roles—why insist on a life-and-death struggle? Tokenization? Just treat it as laying tiles; don't place too many hopes on it. Right now, those hyping tokenization to overthrow ETFs either don't understand the market or are just trying to scalp some gains. ETFs are firmly established; tokens are still early to threaten their market share. Instead of hoping for a revolution every day, it's more practical to see how they can cooperate.

Really, tokenization shaking up ETFs? You're overthinking it, buddy. The fortress of ETFs has been around for decades, and tokens are still exploring.
