Talking about tokens, Dusk is not the kind of meme coin that is kept afloat by hype. As the fuel for the entire ecosystem, it is used for paying transaction fees; participating in node staking and maintaining network security also require it; even governance voting within the ecosystem depends on it. As more real-world assets are brought on-chain, the revenue from on-chain transaction fees and custody fees will continue to grow, making the use cases and demand for DUSK more rigid, rather than being sustained by speculators' imagination.
Next, I will keep an eye on several signals: whether the staking rate is high enough, whether fee income can steadily increase, and whether the token release plan is transparent and controllable. These data points are much more reliable than short-term price fluctuations.
Of course, I am not blindly optimistic. The future path of Dusk will definitely not be smooth sailing, and there are several risks that must be closely monitored. For example, the reliability of cross-chain bridges and oracles—these are the "lifelines" of the ecosystem. Once problems arise, they can easily trigger chain reactions; also, regulatory policies vary across countries and regions. For Dusk to develop globally, it must find a balance within these policy differences, which is much more difficult than technical development; more critically, whether it can continuously attract truly operational institutions rather than those just riding the hype as "pseudo-participants."
These issues cannot be solved by technology alone; they require coordinated efforts in business models, legal compliance, and technical safeguards. Therefore, in the short term, I definitely won't rush to increase holdings just because of temporary hype. I pay more attention to its long-term direction and execution capability.
