Little tip: A certain leading exchange currently has withdrawal fees from the platform to the Ethereum mainnet that are even cheaper than on the Base chain. This is unbelievable. So what's the point of using L2?

That's not right. How can the Ethereum mainnet gas fee be cheaper than Base? What is this exchange up to?

Are the transaction fees on the Ethereum mainnet this cheap? Are you sure it's not secretly subsidized by the exchange?

Purely messing around, Base is the real deal. The Ethereum mainnet fees are so low that it's actually scary.
