【BlockBeats】Kaito founder Yu Hu outlined a series of recent events on social media. According to him, the timeline of the entire incident is as follows: on January 13th, they received an email from the client manager regarding a possible reassessment; on January 14th, they received a legal notice from X and responded on the same day; it was only on January 15th that they publicly synchronized the related content released by Nikita.
Yu Hu explained that they had previously experienced legal notices from X, which were eventually handled properly. Therefore, within such a short time window, it is reasonable to wait, clarify further, and communicate before releasing an official statement.
Regarding business adjustments, Kaito's Yaps has officially shut down. However, this does not mean stagnation; instead, it is part of a larger strategic layout. By 2026, Kaito plans to expand across platforms through the new Kaito Studio, covering mainstream platforms like TikTok and YouTube, and also entering fields outside of cryptocurrency. Kaito Studio has actually been preparing for several months and will serve as a new model to supplement the existing business.
