Recently, I have been reflecting on my trading approach and decided to adjust my strategy. I used to focus on bottom fishing and top picking, trying to accurately predict key points in the larger cycle. Thinking it over carefully, this approach really doesn't mean much for short-term traders.

Instead of wasting effort guessing where the next market move will go, it's better to honestly follow the signals given by the market. Whatever pattern the market presents, trade according to that pattern—simple and straightforward.

Most importantly, set your stop-loss properly. As long as the trading logic hasn't been validated or the trend goes against expectations, cut your losses and don't get entangled. Often, losses grow because too many subjective judgments are added—despite signals being off, still fantasizing about a reversal.

This way of thinking has become much smoother to use, and my mindset is more stable. In trading, to put it simply, you must respect the market's feedback and not always think you can see through the market.

Another enlightened trader. Ironically, this theory was already popular in 2017, with a final liquidation rate of 98%... Data shows that people who believe in "following the signals" have an average holding period of only 3.2 days. Can they really make money?

That's right, trying to buy the dip and sell the top is really just overconfidence; the market doesn't care about that at all.

That's right, you need to listen to the market rather than making up stories with your own mind.

Exactly right, but too many people die at the stage of fantasy reversal. I've been there too.
