Infofi's departure marks a turning point for information distribution in crypto. The original premise was solid—decentralized information without AI-generated noise seemed promising. Yet somewhere along the way, the vision shifted. The platform drifted from what made it compelling initially, gradually diluting its core mission. It's a reminder that staying true to founding principles while scaling is harder than it looks. The space still needs reliable, non-automated intel sources.

Another story of an idealistic project falling apart, I've been through it all. Staying true to the original intention is the hardest, and scaling up requires compromises. How many projects from the 2018 wave are still around today? Decentralized information sounds good, but things without a business model will eventually fail.

Another project has failed, again due to the same old problem—wanting everything but ultimately holding on to nothing. Infofi's original idea was actually pretty good, but they started to compromise during scaling. I've seen this pattern way too many times.

Another dead project, this is the norm in crypto.

Another project that died on the road, forget it.

The core issue is that during scaling, the original intention is often lost, and this pattern repeatedly appears in the crypto ecosystem. From the source code perspective, as system complexity increases, the original design constraints are easily bypassed.

Once again, an idealist dies on the road to fundraising, a typical case of being cut short. From the bottom-fishing logic to finally cutting losses and exiting, Infofi's move can be considered a textbook example of missing out.
