Adding Tempo Testnet to TokenPocket: A Step-by-Step Guide
Want to interact with Tempo Testnet but not sure how to set it up in TokenPocket? Here's what you need to do.
First, open TokenPocket and navigate to the network settings. Look for the option to add a custom network. Tempo Testnet might not be pre-configured, so you'll need to enter the network details manually.
Key information you'll need: - Network Name: Tempo Testnet - RPC URL: The official Tempo endpoint for testnet - Chain ID: The specific identifier for Tempo Testnet - Currency Symbol: Typically matches the mainnet token - Block Explorer: For verifying transactions and contract details
Once you input these parameters correctly, save the network configuration. Your TokenPocket wallet will now recognize Tempo Testnet as an available network option. You can then switch between networks seamlessly and start testing transactions, smart contracts, or exploring dApps on the Tempo Testnet environment.
This setup is essential if you're a developer testing on testnet or a user wanting to explore Tempo's features without mainnet risks. Double-check all network details before confirming to avoid connection issues.

Haha, this kind of tutorial again, copying and pasting feels a bit forced... But to be fair, you really need to be careful when manually adding networks; entering the wrong number could be disastrous.
---
It's just testnet, why is it still so complicated... Hope the mainnet comes out soon.
---
The RPC part is the easiest to trip over; I suggest the official team integrate it directly to save trouble.
---
Wait... where can I find the Chain ID parameter? Has anyone posted a link?
---
I just want to play with test tokens, is it really necessary to be so detailed... But I still gave it a thumbs up.
---
After setting it up, I still can't connect, so frustrating.
---
Tempo's recent promotion is quite thoughtful; they've even released tutorials.

Here's another copy-paste tutorial, this time for Tempo? I've been wanting to try it out for a while, saving it
TokenPocket is once again tweaking custom networks, a bit annoying
Testnet explorers, don't forget to verify the RPC, otherwise it will be awkward if you can't connect
I heard the Tempo testnet is pretty good, I'll wait until I input these parameters before deciding
Manually configuring networks really takes time, hope the wallet can recognize them automatically someday

Step-by-step tutorial, these parameters are easy to confuse, I have to double-check the documentation every time.

Hand-on-hand teaching, right? Just worried that newbies might copy and paste incorrectly, haha.
Testnet players must read, don't mess up the chain id.
Token Pocket is adding another chain, and there are a bunch of networks idling in the wallet...
Tempo is gaining momentum, and everything needs to be configured manually.
This step is smoother than expected, just worried someone might get stuck at RPC.

tokenPocket needs to be configured manually again. Can't wallets automatically recognize new chains these days? It's a bit annoying.

Manually adding a network is a bit troublesome, but it's still worth the effort for testing.
