Seemingly low-probability events are actually not far from you. An experience of wallet theft made me realize I made three significant mistakes.

First, I conducted a transfer operation over public Wi-Fi with no encryption protection. This was essentially an invitation to hackers.

Second, I discussed wallet-related matters in a coffee shop without paying attention to my surroundings, inadvertently exposing myself as a target to malicious individuals. This seemingly casual conversation became the trigger for the attack.

The most critical point — I did not verify each detail of the wallet signing request. I simply clicked confirm so quickly, and what was the result? Assets were gone. This is the deepest lesson.

Thinking about these three steps, even improving any one of them might have prevented this loss. Security is not a matter of probability, but of execution.

I'll say it directly, public WiFi transfers are really incredible... I've seen friends do this before, and at the time, it was unstoppable. I hate clicking that confirm button the most; it's like digging your own grave. Talking about wallets in a coffee shop? You really need to be more cautious. Honestly, security is all about attention to detail. One slack in any link and it's over—an obvious lesson. This guy's sharing this time is quite eye-catching, so we don't have to pay tuition later.

Transferring money over public Wi-Fi is really asking for trouble. I did it once before too, luckily nothing happened. Talking nonsense about the crypto world in a coffee shop, how clueless can you be... Quickly clicking confirm? Bro, that's gambling, not investing. Safety really depends on carefulness. If you miss a detail, everything is lost. To be honest, most people are repeating the same mistakes. We're all gambling on luck.

Bro, this blood and tears lesson I have to remember: transferring money over public Wi-Fi is truly a suicidal move. No way, a coffee shop can still be targeted for theft—what era are we in? Click confirm quickly and it's gone? That's the most ruthless part. I always hesitate for three seconds. These three flaws are actually part of our daily routine. Can't ignore them. Many people skip the signature verification step, including me... reflecting on it. Actually, it's just one sentence: if you don't court death, you won't die.
