But here's what actually matters: true interoperability means different blockchains can talk to each other seamlessly at the protocol level, share liquidity pools, execute complex transactions together, and maintain atomic consistency across chains.

Token swaps and simple transfers? That's yesterday's problem. What we need is for smart contracts on Chain A to directly call functions on Chain B, for DEXs to pool liquidity from multiple chains into unified markets, for lending protocols to accept collateral from anywhere.
