What does “wealth does not enter through the door of urgency” mean?
Actually, there are only two reasons:
First, people who are eager to make money are easily blinded by利益,眼里只盯着高收益,却对背后的风险视而不见,不知不觉就掉进赌博、传销、高杠杆投机的坑里。
And impatience makes people short-sighted, unable to calmly analyze and judge. Those good opportunities that require slow accumulation and long-term persistence are simply missed.
Second, “urgency” runs counter to the compound interest law of wealth accumulation. Whether it’s saving money, honing skills, building connections, or establishing reputation, fundamentally it’s a process of compound interest.
But once impatient, people tend to switch tracks frequently, unable to deepen their expertise in one field. Naturally, they cannot build genuine advantages, and wealth becomes impossible to talk about.
