Recently, the daily trading volume and active addresses on Ethereum L1 have repeatedly hit new highs. However, the Ethereum Gas price has dropped to $0.03. This sharp decline in Gas fees is very significant. Previously, high Gas fees kept many small projects out, but now the threshold is gone, and funds and users from altcoins are returning.
The only somewhat negative aspect is the L2 track, including OP, ARB, ZK, STRK, etc. The L2 space was originally created to solve $ETH on-chain congestion and high Ggs fees. Now, with Ethereum's direct technical upgrades, increased speed, and reduced Gas fees, L2 may become unnecessary.
Additionally, BSC and SOL chains are currently very active. Is it possible that ETH will make a comeback and catch BSC and SOL off guard? The meme tokens that truly generate huge wealth effects are still born on Ethereum. The meme coins from the 2021 bull market $SHIB and this round's $PEPE are both in the hundreds of billions. The combined meme market on SOL and BSC is not enough to compare. Therefore, I plan to focus on ETH in the short term, possibly with a big Golden Dog coming.
