I used to think, like most people, that DUSK was moving too slowly in ecosystem development. But only after comparing its application launch cycle with the delivery timelines of traditional financial IT projects did I realize I was using the wrong standard for judgment.
A compliant DeFi protocol from zero to one takes about 18 months to officially launch. In traditional finance, this speed is already very fast—systems like Bloomberg and Murex often take years to complete iterations. However, the crypto market is accustomed to rapid iteration, and it’s easy to judge all projects by the "ever-changing" standard of DEXs.
DUSK is not competing to be faster than Uniswap, but rather to be more stable and compliant than traditional financial infrastructure. This "slowness" is fundamentally a sign of respect and responsibility towards the field it serves. In this context, what might seem like disadvantages actually become advantages.

Thinking about it this way, DUSK is actually quite solid; compliance really makes it impossible to go for a quick IPO.
Slow and steady wins the race; not every track needs to follow the fast-food pace of DEX.
18 months to develop something truly usable is much more reliable than those semi-finished products updated monthly.
Honestly, applying traditional financial standards to DUSK is the right approach.

Ha, this is what I wanted to hear! I was also wondering why DUSK was so slow before, now I understand—it's not following the same path as Uniswap at all.
Actually, compliance is something that's easy to say but hard to do. Most projects don't even consider this—they only think about speed... An 18-month launch isn't really fast, but compared to traditional finance, who dares to say it's slow?
Slowness isn't a flaw; it's a choice. This is definitely worth re-evaluating.

Oh wow, now I get it. 18 months in traditional finance is basically lightning speed. I really used the wrong coordinate system before.
