Many small cryptocurrencies have already predetermined their endings—the entire lifecycle of the project depends entirely on the developers. This model is nothing new and is riddled with flaws. Given that, why not choose projects that have received legitimate funding and are backed by professional teams?

A common phenomenon in the crypto world is worth warning against: too many people have a serious trust premium for programmers, developers from big companies, and individuals with various titles. How thick is this filter? Thick enough to make people overlook fundamental risks.

Instead of blindly supporting independent developers (the currently popular "vibe" projects also fall into this category), it's better to calmly examine the project's actual progress, funding situation, and team composition. Trust should not be based on titles or stories but on verifiable facts. The crypto market needs rational choices, not worship.

Well said, the line about the ending really hit the mark. But on the other hand, how many people can really resist buying those "independent developer hobby projects"? Once they see the story, they buy in. I've seen too many cases like that.

Well said, too many people are blinded by the title. Backing through financing is indeed much more reliable, at least there are institutions helping you avoid pitfalls. Those narratives promoting independent developers are just talk; real money should not be followed blindly. Funding projects ≠ 100% stable, but at least there is a team and a accountability chain. The small coin set? If the developer runs away, everything is gone. Ultimately, it's human nature—people love stories and worship big shots. But the crypto world doesn't tolerate this; in the face of losses, everyone is equal. Fundamentals are king; everything else is虚的.

Exactly right, that's the point I've been complaining about all along. How many people have been fooled by titles like "Former Big Tech Employee" into going all-in, and what happens next? A rug pull still ends up happening to you.

No matter how fancy independent developers make their packaging, it's still the same approach, and backing by funding is indeed more stable. But I've seen many projects backed by funding also blow up later... The key is still to do your own homework thoroughly.
