One year has passed.

On this day last year, it was a turning point for many people.

At that moment, the market was filled with endless imagination. For the first time in history, the highest levels of US power directly embraced crypto assets, and this "top-down" recognition caused the entire ecosystem to boil. Bitcoin was still on the rise, and industry influencers publicly made bold predictions—BTC not just reaching ten thousand, but aiming for a million.

We truly believed it. Believed that it was the beginning of a new era, believed that mainstream acceptance would change everything. The expectations at that time were incredibly firm.

From that moment to now, one year later, what has the market experienced? And what have our beliefs become?

Million predictions... I already checked the on-chain footprints of those big V wallet addresses back then, and sure enough, they are all dormant now. LOL

Haha, back when Bitcoin was worth millions, it really brainwashed us all. Thinking about it now, it's a bit embarrassing. --- A year, from full recovery to where we are now, having faith left is already quite an achievement. --- Honestly, I believed it back then too. Now I just want to ask: the power holders, why didn't they continue to embrace it? --- Starting a new era or whatever, now it just sounds like a pipe dream. --- The biggest lesson of this year is probably the gap between expectations and reality. --- Back then, those big influencers were still bragging. I bet five bucks they didn't even believe it themselves. --- The market gave the most realistic answer, you can see it for yourself.

It's been a year, and the million-dollar dream back then now looks like a contract without overflow checks—inevitably going to have issues. Faith is fragile, just like unaudited code. What happened to the promised top-down approval? The result? Mainstream recognition indeed changed everything, but not in the way we expected. Bitcoin is still rising, but my wallet is not. We believed back then, and now we regret it—this is the consequence of poor risk assessment. The real attack vector comes from the market itself, more ruthless than any hacker. Looking forward to this... the least trackable variable.
