Once traditional finance derivatives trading on Hyperliquid starts generating serious volume and fees, we might witness something remarkable: HYPE's price action could completely break away from Bitcoin's shadow.
Here's the thing—when TradFi volume dominates over native crypto coin trading, the entire valuation narrative shifts. You're no longer just trading digital assets; you're bringing institutional-grade derivatives infrastructure into crypto. That changes everything.
The markets don't reward what's expected. They reward what catches everyone off guard. If Hyperliquid cracks the code on scaling TradFi derivatives while maintaining decentralization, we should expect moves that defy traditional crypto correlation patterns. HYPE wouldn't just be a platform token anymore—it becomes a play on infrastructure adoption.

To be honest, Hyperliquid would only have a chance if it can truly take a slice of traditional finance. HYPE needs to break free from BTC constraints. However, while this idea sounds good, actually implementing it is another matter entirely.

To be honest, I think this logic is a bit too optimistic... Can traditional finance traffic really flow in so quickly?

Honestly, the logic sounds good, but will TradFi really flood into crypto derivatives on a large scale? I'm more concerned about whether Hyperliquid can survive until that day.

Laughing out loud, it's another story of "this time it's really different." I bet five bucks that this round will follow the classic script of first hitting the limit up and then returning to zero.
