Gender opposition seems to only exist in Asia. In Europe, there is no such saying as "women devalue, men appreciate." In a truly mature society, people are regarded as individuals, not as commodities. Outdated values often compare women to short-term products that rely on their looks to sell, and as bearers of reproductive functions, leading to the idea that "the younger the age, the more valuable; the older the age, the more devalued."
