Ethereum's Gas fees recently dropped below $0.01, while on-chain activity hit a record high. This contrast is quite interesting—remember during the 2023 PEPE craze when a single Gas fee soared to $50? On the same chain, more people are using it, and the costs are actually decreasing. What's the logic behind this?
It doesn't seem like network decline; rather, it looks like efficiency has achieved a qualitative leap. More users, cheaper fees, higher activity—all happening simultaneously, indicating that Ethereum's scaling solutions are indeed taking effect. In this market shift, those who can grasp these details will be able to see the next direction clearly.

Really, this is how it should be. The previous $50 gas fee was simply outrageous.
The era of $0.01 has arrived, and the scaling solution was finally worth it.
More users actually make it cheaper; this is what network effects are all about.
Some people are still waiting for a bear market, but I am already looking at this logic.

Honestly, I still find it hard to believe that the gas fee is 0.01; I need to see a screenshot to be convinced.

A $0.01 gas fee, now that's more like it
More people actually makes it cheaper, indicating that scaling really works
Back when it was 50 yuan, who dared to interact... now it's a completely different world

0.01 dollars for gas? That must be layer 2 work; how could it be on the mainnet?

This is the magic of Layer 2, really worth the wait.
