History always tends to repeat itself in some way. Observing XRP's recent price movements, it is interesting to note that it exhibits a strikingly similar technical pattern to the 2017 bull market cycle—same structural framework, same upward momentum, and even the touch of key support levels is eerily similar. This is no coincidence. Markets rarely repeat exactly, but there is certainly a certain rhythm. Cyclical repetition is a prominent characteristic of crypto assets: each bull and bear transition leaves behind similar technical signals. If history truly has reference value, then the current price range may be a key area to watch closely. Investors who ignore these cyclical signals may pay the price in the next wave of the market.

From a technical perspective, this kind of cyclical resonance discussion is indeed supported by data, but what needs to be cautious of is — similar historical patterns do not necessarily mean they will repeat in the future. This is a core blind spot I pointed out in a market cyclicality analysis I conducted in 2019.

The rhetoric of history repeating itself has been heard too many times, but this time XRP is indeed a bit interesting... Who wasn't cut during the 2017 wave? Now it's happening again?

The idea that history repeats itself has been heard too many times, but this wave of XRP does have some substance. However, don't overtrust the technical patterns.
