The New York Stock Exchange plans to implement a 24-hour continuous trading system. This shift means that the US stock market will break the traditional opening/closing time restrictions and move towards around-the-clock trading.

What’s interesting about this move is that the cryptocurrency market has been operating this way for a long time. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and mainstream DeFi tokens have already achieved global 24/7 continuous trading. The recent reform in traditional stock markets somewhat reflects the increasing demand from market participants for uninterrupted liquidity.

For traders accustomed to the rhythm of the crypto market, this change will narrow the trading experience gap between traditional finance and Web3 assets. Whether it’s stocks or digital assets, around-the-clock markets mean more opportunities but also bring more risks. From the perspective of market microstructure, this is likely to encourage more retail and institutional investors to rethink their asset allocation strategies.

The traditional stock market has finally caught up with our pace. It should have been like this a long time ago, brothers.

Traditional finance is finally catching up. We've been trading 24/7 in crypto for a long time. --- Basically, the stock market is slowly realizing how weak it is and has to learn from us. --- Now there's no excuse to say the crypto market is unregulated. Even the NYSE is about to reform. --- It's both an opportunity and a risk. Wake up, everyone. 24-hour trading means you also have to watch around the clock. --- Awesome, finally seeing the US stock market and the crypto world compete on the same starting line. --- Wait, does this mean Wall Street is also starting to think that traditional trading hours are too silly? --- Institutional investors need to reallocate assets? They've should have done this a long time ago. --- Hmm, if that's the case, I need to completely change my trading strategies. Seamless 24-hour trading definitely requires a rethink. --- The traditional stock market is only now realizing the value of around-the-clock trading. The crypto community is laughing. --- Well said, the point that risks are higher—while others are making money, you're still sleeping.

Traditional finance is finally starting to learn about crypto. Now do you understand the benefits of 24/7 trading? We've been enjoying this privilege for a long time haha. The NYSE's move is basically catching up with us. The liquidity in the crypto world has long surpassed traditional markets. 24-hour trading sounds great, but the risks also double... Not everyone can handle it. Oh my god, equality is finally coming. Traditional stock investors can now experience what the real market is like. This is getting interesting. Will institutions suddenly realize they need to overhaul their trading strategies? The idea of Web3 is to be five years ahead of traditional finance, and this has been validated once again. Don't celebrate too early; the real test is whether the system can withstand 24-hour pressure. Stocks are finally like cryptocurrencies. Feeling like crypto has won?

lol they're finally catching up to what we've been running on for like a decade. empirically speaking, this just means more retail bagholders trading at 3am when they should be sleeping. inevitable, really.

Is the NYSE finally going to learn from us? Haha, it's about time. The crypto circle has been tired of 24/7 trading for a long time. Traditional finance is several steps behind. Only now are they catching up. With 24-hour trading, the risk leverage probably doubles as well. It feels like there will be a big wave of volatility later on. As crypto enthusiasts, we'll just watch the show. Stock investors will have to adapt slowly.
